What's Include
  1. Constructive feedback from a reader’s perspective, providing insightful and unbiased assessments only a
    trained outsider can notice; more detailed than merely opinions of “I like this!” and “This is confusing.”
  2. General, all-encompassing annotations, which:
    1. Flag major issues that could break readers’ immersion or cause confusion.
    2. Commend parts of the project/manuscript handled excellently.
    3. Analyse how other readers might interpret, feel, or react to notable parts of the
      project/manuscript.
  3. Comprehensive editorial assessment with discerning commentary regarding:
    1. Strengths and weaknesses in the plot, characters, settings, themes, the author’s storytelling style,
      and other areas of interest.
    2. The overall project/manuscript and its intended market.
  4. May or may not include verifying basic facts and logic, upon request.
    E.g. maximum number of rounds in a specific firearm model, anachronistic slang, using technology
    before it was invented, regional seasons, when something was made (il)legal, improper tennis
    score-keeping, unideal blade-sharpening directions, etc.
  5. Generally doesn’t include sentence rewriting, nor checking for technical issues, unless a sentence is
    completely unreadable or confusing.
  6. Generally doesn’t include suggesting plans of action, nor providing Author Guidance, Artist Guidance, or
    Creator Guidance, unless bundled with Developmental Editing.
What's Not Include
